Aranga Coffee Group

When we started selling coffee we wanted to support the local farmers and started buying dried coffee from Aranga Coffee Group. Aranga Coffee Group consists of 28 families from Nkoaranga Village on Mt.Meru. The families have a long tradition with coffee farming. Some are the 3rd generation of coffee farmers and still have trees dated back to the period around 1910 when missionaries introduced the first coffee trees to the area. Every family has their own small land where they handpick the coffee, pulp it and dry it, before selling the coffee to Wild Tracks.
